This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 03, 2008:
I have absolutely no doubt that terrible things befall innocent people.
It also seems that deeds done with genuine concern for others seem to be recognised and rewarded often.
So I do not believe in a hard "karma", and there does appear to be something that is karma like in some aspects at work in the universe.

Karma appears to reflect one's creation of emotional responses over the long eons. Therefore one can eliminate karma as an involuntary response to life by addressing this emotional history. Karma is not a rule of this place. Each person determine's his or her own fate.
